SR.TRAP
The visual identity for Senyor Trap is built on the collision of two antagonistic worlds: trap aesthetics and traditional bourgeois codes. The project explores the friction between these seemingly irreconcilable realms, creating a narrative where classic exclusivity and underground rawness converge into a 'high-low' aesthetic.
This duality is translated through a deliberate typographic pairing: Caslon (1722) provides historical weight and tradition, while Helvetica Neue serves as a structural counterpoint, offering urban neutrality and contemporary functionality.
The chromatic system relies on a sober black-and-white base, with red acting as a disruptive element to evoke distortion and rage. This logic extends to the art direction, featuring direct-flash photography and heavy grain to capture the visceral fusion of luxury spaces and raw street iconography.
